Los Haitises night hike in the rainforest

Night hike in Los Haitises National Park

Venture into the rainforest of Los Haitises National Park and discover the wonders of nature at nightfall.

Led by a professional naturalist tour guide, you will explore the rainforest after dark, with your senses alert and a flashlight in hand. Don’t miss the chance to see the creatures that few can witness: the creatures that only come to life while the rest of the country sleeps… In other words, nighttime is the best time to see wildlife!

You will be picked up and taken to the starting point of the night walk. Your tour guide will lead you through the rainforest trails while pointing out and analyzing the various plants and animals along the way.

If it rains, consider yourself lucky! Rain increases animal activity in the rainforest, which increases the likelihood of creatures such as sloths, fruit bats, and the red-eyed tree frog.

When the tour is over, you will be taken back to your hotel, where you can rest and view the amazing pictures you took of Arenal’s incredible nocturnal wildlife. Don’t forget to share them on Facebook and Instagram and tag them with #bookingadventures.
